All of our courses have been designed by practitioners and leading academics to help you become the best lawyer you can be. We deliver the highly acclaimed courses in the heart of London.
Convert to Law with our Graduate Diploma in Law Course (GDL) full time
This one-year intensive course is designed for any non-law graduate who intends to become a solicitor in England and Wales. We place great emphasis on the high academic standards of our course. We deliver Nottingham Law School's GDL which places the academic subjects into a work related context so students are more prepared for practice.
All students who successfully complete the GDL will be guaranteed a place on the Kaplan Law School LPC. Face-to-face tuition is a priority and the course is taught through interactive small group sessions of 10 to 14 students, as well as small lecture groups.
We use computer aided learning and testing to enhance your learning experience, rather than replace it.

Become a Solicitor with our Legal Practice Course (LPC) full time
Kaplan Law School offers rigorous, professional standards of course delivery. Our pass rates are excellent. Our teaching model is based around smaller group sizes, with a maximum of 18, which helps accelerate student learning and understanding, as well as give our tutors more contact time with each student. Tutors know their students by name; learning issues can be quickly identified and complex matters can be given more time and focus.
On the LPC you will learn how to apply the legal knowledge you have acquired in your previous studies. You will gain a thorough understanding of legal procedure and will develop the skills you need to be a successful solicitor.

Become a Barrister with our Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) full time
This skills-based course is designed by Nottingham Law School to equip those intent on becoming barristers. Places are limited to 120 so that we can apply high admissions standards, thereby ensuring a bright cohort of students and the best chances of securing a pupillage.
Teaching takes place in groups of either 6 or 12. Students work through seven 'briefs' (instructions to a barrister), learning the skills of a barrister. Group work forms a focal point of the course with students carrying out practical tasks and exercises.
All our teaching staff are qualified barristers who have spent significant time in practice. They pride themselves on the sense of community created by our open door policy and pastoral care given to students.
