Our Law Summer School is designed for individuals of all ages and experience who are thinking of embarking on a career as a solicitor or barrister in London and would provide a head start for those who will shortly commence the GDL, LPC or BPTC, wherever the location. By holding the course at our London campus, it would also give all attendees the opportunity to experience our teaching style in our state of the art facilities.
The Law Summer School provides the opportunity to gain a real insight into the working life of a commercial solicitor. Within the context of a commercial transaction, you will participate in workshops where you will practice and receive feedback on the following skills:
- Negotiation
- Research
- Drafting
- Delivering presentations
- Legal writing
Our intensive two-day programme will also develop and enhance your commercial awareness, enabling you to consider a commercial transaction from your client’s perspective. Additionally, our London Careers Service Manager Gemma Baker will conduct a CV/application skills workshop, as well as giving bespoke advice according to your career aspirations.
Course Fees and Reserving a Place
