A: Once you have confirmed your enrolment onto the course there may be some Pro Bono activities you can get involved in.

Q: Is it important to get involved in Pro Bono?

A: In a recent survey it was rated as the number 1 extra curricular activity that recruiters look for. It is also a big part of any law firm’s business now. As an example Clifford Chance estimate that the value of the pro bono work undertaken by them in 2006/07 was nearly £10million.

Q: What should I get involved in?

A: Whatever takes your interest! There are various pro bono activities available all with different responsibilities and skill sets.

Q: Is there any pro bono activity that I can’t get involved in?

A: No. If any activity requires training then this will be provided. The only thing that may prevent you from becoming involved is your timetable, but most activities happen more than once so you should be able to get involved at some point.
