Law Scholarships and Bursaries at Kaplan Law School

Kaplan Law School provide a number of law scholarships and bursaries to promote and award academic excellence.

Our university scholarships and bursaries are reviewed on a continual basis with details of the current offering can be found below.

GDL Funding and Scholarships


There are up to 10 GDL scholarships for students who have accepted by 1 June 2012 and will be invited to apply. There is also a Pro Bono scholarship which is awarded to the person who can demonstrate a proven track record in organising and leading effective pro bono or other voluntary (either legal or non-legal) activity.

LPC Funding and Scholarships


The Law Society provides two bursary schemes offering assistance for the Legal Practice Course.

The Law Society operates two schemes offering assistance with LPC funding for the Legal Practice Course. The LPC bursary scheme and Law Society Diversity Access Scheme provide funding and information for those looking to further their career in Legal Practice.

Kaplan law School also offer a wide range of scholarships to particularly strong candidates with up to 10 LPC scholarships available for those who have accepted by 1 June 2012. There is also one Pro Bono Scholarship available to the person who can demonstrate a proven track record in organising and leading effective pro bono or other voluntary (either legal or non-legal) activity.

BPTC (BVC) Funding and Scholarships


There is a wide scope of BPTC funding available through Kaplan Law School with The Inns providing in excess of £3m per annum in law bursaries alone. Banks will also lend legal career development loans to strong potential candidates.

Kaplan also offer a selection of scholarship programs with 10 BPTC Advocacy Scholarships awarded to those students who have a proven track record by way of debating, mooting, public speaking, speaking at work and so on. The BPTC Master/Mistress of Moots Scholarship is also available to the student who can demonstrate a proven track record in organising and leading to success student activity in mooting, debating or advocacy.
