Whilst our main focus is on preparing you for practice and we spend much of our time getting you to think like a lawyer, we appreciate these are your final courses as a full time student and therefore want to help you enjoy this time.
The Sports and Social Committee is set up at the start of the first term and are responsible for organising the events you would like run throughout the year. These events can cover sponsoring sports teams, end of term social events and fund raising activities.
Previous activities that have taken place include, Halloween party, Christmas party, cake sales, quiz nights, staff/student netball and football matches, end of year student awards and farewell party.
The sports and social committee also work with Nottingham Law School’s committee to arrange places for our students at the ball held in Nottingham in May and to join the Nottingham Law School ski trip.
In addition Kaplan Law School organise a Welcome party in the first week of term to give you an opportunity to meet those you will be spending the coming year with. We also hold a formal graduation ceremony in the year after completion of the course enabling you to meet up and celebrate with fellow graduates and family.
