Gemma Baker
Admissions & Careers Service Manager
Gemma worked as a Graduate Recruitment & Development Manager in two leading City firms and maintains strong links with the profession. She is the main point of contact for all those interested in a career as a solicitor and provides a proactive service which reflects Kaplan’s inclusive culture. Having worked in the legal world, Gemma knows what law firms are looking for and can identify how to make your application stand out from the crowd. She provides students with practical, individual advice, enabling you to formulate a solid and achievable career strategy.
Gemma is also part of the Admissions Team and deals with enquiries from prospective students.

Claire Mamo
Pro-Bono Manager
Claire is a qualified solicitor with a back ground in private practice. She is responsible for running the various pro-bono activities offered to students at Kaplan Law School. The cornerstone of the pro-bono programme at Kaplan Law School is the Kaplan Legal Advice Centre, a free legal advice centre staffed by students and qualified solicitors. All of our pro-bono activities have been selected to ensure that students are developing the practical legal skills which they will require to be successful practitioners.

Mark Wall
Admissions Manager
Mark is first point of contact for all potential students. He handles enquiries relating to admissions for all courses and runs our popular guided tours. Mark arranges student events such as open days.

Juliette Cook
Business Development Manager
Juliette is the bridge between our Client Law Firms and their future trainees. She is responsible for maintaining good links with the Firms to ensure they are kept up to date with any developments, while at the same time providing pastoral care for these students. Juliette also arranges formal events such as Graduation.
Juliette is also part of the Admissions Team and deals with enquiries from prospective students.

Jo Bagshaw
Head of Administration
Jo oversees the day to day running of the Administration Team and is responsible for building and equipment maintenance. During your first week at Kaplan Law School Jo runs a series of sessions on how to make the most from the online resources available to you through our citrix neighbourhood.

Becky Taylor
Administrator
Becky is responsible for the front of house for the office and is the main point of contact for student enquiries. Becky also chairs the student Sports and Social Committee and is able to advise on support available from Kaplan for events.

LPC Course Administrator
Lindsey is an administrator for the LPC course, part of which involves maintain student records. She also ensures the materials for each course are printed and distributed to teaching staff.

Amit Patel
GDL Course Administrator and Admissions
Amit is an administrator for the GDL course. He is also responsible for admissions at the law school ensuring all students receive relevant information and updates before joining.

Samantha Vickers
BPTC Course Administrator
Samantha is the BPTC course administrator maintaining students records and sourcing ‘actors’ for the mock trials as well as carrying out other day to day administrative tasks.
Marilyn Nesbitt
Systems Administrator
Marilyn is the course timetable, producing staff and student timetables. Marilyn previously worked at Nottingham Law School in the same capacity so brings with her a wealth of experience. She also helps in the running of the skills assessments for the LPC.
Marylon Cross
Librarian
Marylon is based in the PRC managing the library and IT rooms. She is available for student enquiries in regards to research. She runs a series of sessions at the start of term for students on legal research techniques especially when using on line sources.
