English legal method
|
|
English legal method (ELM) is the basic foundation for your study of our GDL. It consists of several large and small group sessions (plus research and study exercises). These help you get to grips with the resources and study techniques used by all lawyers in terms of both interpreting and analysing legal texts, statute and case law as well as understanding how the English legal system has evolved and the various legal doctrines that have developed to support it.
