Applying to a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) at Kaplan Law School

Application Process

All applications must be submitted online via Lawcabs (www.lawcabs.ac.uk) from October 2011. Offers will start to be made from the first week in November. We will aim to let you know our decision within two working days of receiving your application from Lawcabs.

If we make you an offer, as soon as you accept you will be supported by our specialist graduate recruitment team. Whilst you can accept at any time, to maximise your chances of success we recommend you accept by the following dates:

  • Vac Scheme Applications  Accept by 4 January 2012 for your initial consultation and vac scheme application review;
  • Training Contract Applications  Accept by 1 June 2012 for your initial consultation, training contract application review and mock interview;

We appreciate that money is tight. You will only pay a non-refundable deposit of £50 to secure your place. You will pay a more substantial deposit in June/July 2012 at a time when you will be sure that this is the career for you.

Competition is intense. We look for a 2:1 or higher, commitment to and understanding of the profession, good references and an excellent standard of English.

Please contact Kaplan Law School’s Admissions Team on admissions@kaplanlawschool.org.uk or 020 7367 6455 for any advice or to book a time to visit us.
